Blurred boundaries between working hours and private hours due to the covid-pandemic have caused many teams to feel more stressed and anxious. Help your teams get a grip on their unwanted habits and help them create habits that support their mental wellbeing. That way everyone stays sane and happy balancing work and private life in these difficult covid times. Mindlock is a game in which players learn to change their habits in an effective and fun way.
The game can be played online or in a hybrid setting. The board is made available in online whiteboard tool Miro. The game can be played in breakout groups of 3-6 people. You will need a video connection next to the online board.
How do you change behavior in one game?
The game is based upon a well proven method for behavior change, Tiny Habits by B.J. Fogg. There's a book you can read would like to know more about this method. Of course it takes some time to create new habits and players will have to keep going with taking tiny steps after the game in order to create the change within themselves. That said, Mindlock gives the people in your team a great start! It teaches your team the method and actively encourages them to already during the game take the first steps in building new habits. This lowers the thresholds for new behavior and ignites the change.

Wanna play?
Mindlock is available as a team workshop (of 2.5 hours). It suits teams of around 6-12 people but there are possibilities to scale up the workshop, please let us know your wishes. Your team will get an introduction to the Tiny Habits method, play the game and share in a reflection round after playing. There is the option to connect the outcomes of the game to a set of guidelines or set of personal & team goals. Please let us know if you would like us to make a link to your current employee engagement undertakings.
